Marcie loves to be outside in the snow with her dad...I don't do snow :) They have made a few snowmen in the past couple weeks. They are quite creative I must say!

Evan is such a happy little boy, he loves to smile at everybody. He has grown up so fast I think he weighs 15 1/2 pounds, so half the size of Marcie exactly. He soon will pass her up.

Marcie and I love to make faces in the mirror together, we try to do the exact face. I must say we are pretty good at it. She is my mini me :)

I told Marcie to look at me and keep smiling...She did just that and Evan was NOT happy :)

Our new little Bundle of JOY is HERE!

Evan Cody Munk was born November 5th at 5:22pm, weighing 8 lbls 0 oz. measuring 20 inches long. We are so excited to have him join our family. Evan is happy and healthy. Marcie says she wants 2 baby brothers but she wants one to be a baby boy and one to be a baby girl. She is such a great helper, she want to do everything for me. She lets me know when he stinks and that is so funny to see, she say eeee-uuuu. It is strange to be a mother of 2 and not just 1, but is awesome. Evan is a good baby, he eats sleeps and poops all day long.

Marcie's First Day of Preschool

Marcie had her first day of Preschool September 8th. She was so excited she kept asking me, "Mom is it time to go yet?" Finally it was time to go and while driving to school which is only 5 or less minutes away she kept saying, "Are we there yet?" over and over. She walked in with no problem and waved by to me and went on her marry way. I am so glad she likes school, I get 4 hours a week to my self and that has been so weird. I guess I can't get use to it because all of that changes in November. No sleep, no alone time. :) That is OK...Kids are worth it!

YIKES!

Last weekend Cody took Marcie and I fishing for Tiger Muskie's. We fished in a row boat for these huge, scary, teethy fish. I was able to land this one musky and had Marcie take the picture of Cody, myself and the fish. I think she did a good job. Marcie said that the fish fell inside the boat to say hi to her. It was so fun realing this fish in...I have never had my arms burning so much just from the fish pulling and tugging. Cody said it was a fat one. It was a day to remember.

This year for Halloween I decide to make a Pocahontas outfit for Marcie, it was fun to make...I found some boots and a Pin/Button. I will post pictures of the whole face painting when Halloween is here. I needed to be ahead of the game because I am due to have a baby November 10th and I am not sure if I will have the motivation to make something at that time.

Marcie out of the blue asked me if she could lasso a cow, that made me laugh because I have never told her what a lasso was and now she wants to lasso a cow. I told her I didn't have a cow but sure enough she said Grandpa Munk has a cow. She wanted to call him immediately so we did. "Grandpa I want to lasso your cow, but just a tiny one." Grandpa laughed and told her he would help her do that. So TADA! Her wish came true:)

The flood in my back yard....

So on June 2nd...Last Tuesday around 7:30 pm was one of my most frightening experience. It was raining very hard outside and then turned into a hail storm. The hail was the size of marbles. At first I thought it was pretty cool...for the first 5 minutes...and then it hailed for another 10 or 15 minutes longer. My garden looked like a swim pool and Cody decided to make way for the water to exit our garden area. I noticed Cody was running towards the house, I looked at our rock wall and all of a sudden water started bailing off my rocks like a waterfall. I grabbed a hoodie and charged to my neighbors on both sides of me and told them the canal right behind my fence was over flowing. There was so much rain the canal switched flowing directions. By the time I got back from informing the neighbors (3 min. later) I had a 40 foot river behind my house. With the phone in my hand I ran up to my fence gate and held the tarps up to help and calling everybody I could to come help. 10 miniutes or so longer my whole yard was ingulfed in water just below my knees. 2 inchs below the step to get in my house. It was scary to see 90% of my yard under water. I didn't know if it would get in my house. I am pretty lucky because my house was fine. I lost my garden, my rock bed with flowers but my house and family was safe and that is what matters the most. I am so grateful that my family and friends came over to sandbag and help with this whole mess. We all were up to 1 or 2 in the morning helping all the people we could that were getting flooded. Now whenever it rains I am a little wigged out and my heart beats franticly. Thanks to all that helped, thanks so so so much! :)

Marcie and I went to TJ Maxx to waste time looking around and this is what she wanted...Panties. Well what is funny is that when people would walk by her she would put a pair of granny panties up to her chest and make a silly face. I couldn't help but laugh. I had a pile of panties to pick up after that little episode. So while I was writing this Marcie just colored the top of her baby dolls head with crayon...great I guess I better go take care of bussiness.

Decorating the Tree!

Marcie is really into watching Cinderella. Do you remember the part where Cinderella's fairy godmother comes and gets her ready for the ball. Well, Marcie laughs her guts out when she takes off in the carriage and the horses are running. I don't know why she laughs at the horses running but she makes me laugh every time. She calls horses gla-glas. Weird huh?

Here Kitty Kitty!!!

We have been thinking a lot about getting Marcie a kitty but havn't had any luck until now. In Augest we found this cat at Petsmart and fell in love with him. Cody and I were not sure about getting a cat that day because we were just getting into the idea of having a pet. So we drove home without the cat. By the time we got home Cody said go get him. What???? So I dropped Marcie and Cody off at drove back into town and adopted this kitty.

Well we got him in Augest and not it is November and he has not run away! Let me tell you he has lost a couple of his lives already. I will tell you my bad day....I went to the eye doctor to have a checkup, I dropped Marcie off with Cody at a park 10 min. away because a doctor visit should be only 30ish min. long, right? Well I was there from 1:00pm-3:45ish!!!! The doctor dialated my eyes and then left me in a dark room for 45 min. he then paralized my eyes so I could not focus my eyes. The doctor says I have the abilty to change the shape of my lens to see 20/15 but my eyes strain very hard to see that perfect, but my true vision is not perfect. It is hard to explain. Anyways, Cody has an hour lunch and by now it has been a couple hours. I had to call Cody because he was stranded at the park without a carseat, and no diaper bag. Cody was a little upset due to the fact Marcie has a messy diaper and no diapers to change her and it is way past his lunch. Well the doctor said it would be ok to drive and go get Marcie, so that is what I did. I told him that I couldn't see, he still told me that it would be ok. Weird huh? My vision was soooo blurry that I could not see the speedomometer I could not see street signs, only big blurrs of cars, trees, houses. I was so scared I wanted to cry. Well when I found Cody I told him I would help change her diaper but he had to wipe because I could not see a thing. :( Now that I look at it it sounds kinda funny. So I had Cody put Marcie in the car and off I went back to the doctors office to finish my appointment. The thing is, is I had to drive home after all of this. The doctor told me I would be blind for 6 hours. I did find myself home but didn't realize I did not roll all my car windows up, duh cause I was blind. This is the part where my cat almost lost his life. The cat had jumped into the car window and used my leather seat as a scratching post!!! Ya, he did. There were holes and scrates on one area, I thought I was going to loose it! Now that this is all in the past (I guess) the cat is living outside in a heated cat house (spoiled). I guess I learned from this story that material things are just things, but this cat makes Marcie so happy it makes me so so so happy.

Marcie Had A Bad Day

I took Marcie to Willow Part to play and see the animals. First she was eating her french fries and then trying to feed the ducks. Ya, well she kinda got bit by a duck, LOL. That french fry was just a little too close to the fence. It scared her and made her cry, it was sad but looking at it now it was kinda funny. Second, while she was playing a park she decide to walk infront of a swinging swing, nobody in the swing but it clocked her right in the forhead and knocked her right off of her feet onto her back. So there is a picture of her head below. She took it like a champ!

I decided to put Marcie in her Halloween costume that I bought for $2.00 last year. (what a smokin deal) Marcie loves to smell flowers so I let her walk to my neighbors yard to smell her flowers. She planted her nose on every flower and sniffed away. This skunk outfit makes me laugh so hard, I can't wait for Halloween!

I told my neighbor that I saw a skunk in her yard that next morning at church and she was surprised, I told her that I took pictures of it and I would show her...but just informed her it was Marcie in her skunk suit. Hehe!

We Have GRASS/WEEDS?
We have been working a lot in the yard this year. We had our sprinklers put in, did your rock beds/trees/shrubs, put a shed in, and planted grass and more trees. I am so glad to have the yard 98% done. Next year I will be working on the back yard with flowers and doing a garden. I don't have a green thumb. I planted tomatos and decided to spray the weeds that are close to the tomatos. Well can you guess what happened? Ya, my tomatos have huntch backs. We will have to see if they pull through or not. How sad is that? I guess I have learned for next year. :)

"More, More, MORE!"

So Marcie loves cereal just like me. I love to eat Corn Pops, just not with milk. So in the mornings we sit in the tv room and eat Corn Pops right out of the box, yummy!:) She is so funny...She will dig her hand right to the bottom of the box and pull out a handful and then shove the other hand it and grab another handful. She will eat a few from one hand and then think she needs more and go right back to grabbing more from the bottom of the box. She has a new phase she is going through. Every time she wants something or wants more of something she saids, "More, More, More!" Imagine a sweet high pitch voice saying it. She is so funny to listen to when she says that. It kind of reminds me of the seaguls on the movie Finding Nemo when they say "Mine, Mine, Mine" It makes me laugh everytime.

What Is All The Crying About?

A Couple friend of mine took all of our kids to Newton Damn. Does it look like they are having fun? LOL! It is kind of fun having friends that have kids the excat age of yours. Cody and His Fishing Adventure!

Cody and my brother Kyle went fishing to Newton Damn a couple of weeks back. They were going to bass fish but new they had a chance of catching a Tiger Muskie. Well, That is just what they did. Cody ended up catching 3 Tigers. Cody said he was in shock and awe. These are his first Muskies he has ever caught. I think he needs to go buy a metal glove so he doesn't get his hand chomped right off!

What... Yard WORK?

This picture has been taken about 3 weeks ago and we now have an inch of grass! I can't believe my eyes. I still see dirt but the grass is taking over. I see that you are trying to focus on my pink and black bunny boots and know that you want them. So if you want call me I will let you barrow them! ;) I am so exctited to mow my lawn, Wait, did I just said that.... I guess it's true. I don't have a lawn mower so I guess I will put that on my list. Hm mm. Marcie loves to play in the dirt. I let her walk around on the patio and she heads right to the grass/dirt. When I go to move her from the grass she throws a temper tantrum. (Her back arches like a rainbow and she screams at the top of her lungs, let me tell you that is getting old real fast.)

WOW! My Baby IS 1

Marcie's first birthday party was such a blast. We partied at Mac Park. All I can say is Marcie is loved by so many people. She enjoyed opening her presents with her cousins help. I made her a flower shaped cake, I frosted it with pink frosting and put chocolate chips for the center of her cake. (Because I knew she would at least dig into those) She was so cute to watch, I can't believe she has been on this earth for one whole year. I guess life does fly by.YuMmY!!!

What a big helper she is. I introduced chocolate chips to Marcie about a week ago! OOPS! My mistake. I decided to make chocolate chip cookies and placed Marcie on the counter to watch me make them. (she loves to watch me cook) So I dumped the chocolate chips into the bowl and she looked at me just a waiting. So she reached her hand down to steal a chip out of the bowl and I said, "No no Marcie" she looked at me in disbelief and pulled her hand back only to try it again. I said no once more to get her reaction and on her third attempt I watched her reach into the bowl. She looked at me and snatched one real fast and shoved it into her mouth, "Mmmm, Mmmm" she mumbled. It made me laugh because she wanted those chocalate chips soo soo bad she swipped 3 or 4 more chips and made a big mess of herself. It made me laugh!

OfF 2 S & S CoaStEr @ SiX FLags IN CAliForNiA!

This Is THE X2 Coaster

Cody works for Stan at S & S Power designing roller coasters and things of that nature. Stan decided that he wanted to fly all of the S & S employees to Six Flags in California, he would pay all the airfair and tickets to get in the park. I was invited but had to pay my way which I am not complaining, for me it is a once in a lifetime oppertunity. Cody was really excited because he has been working on this project for 2 1/2 years. Six Flags had this ride only up and going for all of S & S employee's. This ride won't open for another week. It was funny to see the reactions from other people in the park because they we not able to ride it. We were able to ride the X2 Coaster 3 times in a row. If I were waiting in line to ride this coaster the average wait is 4 hours, and that is to ride it once. I had so much fun but the next day my sholders were bruised on top from being flipped and tossed along the way.

This Orange Coaster is Tatsu we waited in line to ride this coaster for 3 hours. I was sweating out every pour, but worth the wait.... I think? Ya it was!

Marcie's A Mouth Full!

Marcie has been a hard one to feed, she has never liked the puree baby foods. What she really likes is what I am eating. She likes waffles, she'll pull all of it in her mouth and won't swallow, that really drives me crazy!

She also loves her Fruit Loops, as you can see it is all over her face, the joys of being a mother. I like her to feed herself but after she is done it is usually all over the floor. I know if I have missed a spot because my socks are usually sticky and I really hate that!
